CLEP Study Guides
At present, there are a number of CLEP study guides available for each of the exams. The amount of studying you need to do will depend on how recently and how well you learned the material included in the test. There are detailed lists of the relevant content for each exam posted here and elsewhere. Be sure to take a good look at the content of your exam long before the exam date. This will ensure that you select the most appropriate and helpful CLEP study guides.
In some cases, the material covered by the exam may be slightly different than the material covered in a corresponding high school course. For instance, the CLEP Psychology exam may have a broader scope than the average high school psychology syllabus. For this reason, it may be necessary for you to learn new material even as you review the content of your previous coursework. Often, students do not realize they are weak in certain areas until they actually sit down to study before the exam. In some cases, this is too late.
